Lionesses Suffer Setback in European Qualifier
England's European Qualifiers for UEFA Women's EURO 2025
Dates Confirmed, Lionesses Face Tough Group
The Football Association (FA) has confirmed the dates for England's European Qualifiers for UEFA Women's EURO 2025. All six games will take place between April and September 2023.
The Lionesses have been drawn into Group 3 alongside Austria, Norway, and Latvia. England will begin their campaign on Friday, 12th July 2023, with a home match against Austria at St. Mary's Stadium in Southampton.
England Manager Sarina Wiegman is focused on the Euro qualifiers and the Euros next year. "We have a tough group, but we are confident in our team. We have a good mix of experience and youth, and we will be ready for the challenge." Wiegman said.
The top two teams from each group will advance to the finals, which will be held in the Netherlands in July 2025. The draw for the finals will take place in September 2024.
