CBS Sacramento: Two Killed in Fiery Crash on Highway 99

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (CBS13) — Two people were killed and one person was injured in a fiery crash on Highway 99 in south Sacramento Friday evening.
The California Highway Patrol (CHP) said the crash happened around 4:45 p.m. on Highway 99 near Florin Road. A white GMC Yukon and a semi-truck collided, causing the Yukon to burst into flames.
Two people inside the Yukon were pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the semi-truck was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The CHP is investigating the cause of the crash. Alcohol and drugs are not suspected to be factors.
